Previous version

Luxion released KeyShot 11.2, which adds native support for Apple silicon processors, several new workflow capabilities, and over 75 bug fixes to the real-time 3D rendering tool.

You can now run KeyShot on the latest generation of Macs with Apple silicon chips, including M1 and the newest M2. Luxion claims that if you have a newer Mac with Apple silicon, you will experience a 15-30% performance gain in rendering and usability compared with x86-64 translation performance.

KeyShot Web Viewer has also been updated to include Studio support, allowing you to switch between Environments and Cameras, improved transparent materials with support for absorption, reflections, and refractions, a new bloom effect, and improved material accuracy when baking.

The new version adds new Pantone 2022 colors to the KeyShot Color Library, the ability to render CMF documents using scripting, better performance when dragging and dropping materials onto objects in the real-time view, and other improvements.

KeyShot Pro subscriptions cost $99/month, while KeyShot Personal Edition subscriptions cost $49/month.
