The game will definitely generate an even greater number with an enhanced edition launching on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Developer Cold Symmetry and publisher Playstack announced their Action-RPG Mortal Shel managed to sell over 500,000 copies worldwide.
The game was originally released in August 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Epic Games Store. It received a content update in October called Rotting Autumn.
"Mortal Shell continues to blaze a trail for Playstack," noted the publisher's chief executive Harvey Elliott. "Reaching 500,000 sales is a wonderful and deserving achievement for the supremely talented developers at Cold Symmetry."
