NVIDIA Launched GeForce RTX 3090 Ti

The "world’s fastest graphics card" costs $1,999 and is meant for creators, data scientists, and extreme gamers.

NVIDIA has launched its $1,999 GeForce RTX 3090 Ti – "the world’s fastest graphics card," according to the company. The card will be available from ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galax, Gigabyte, INNO3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac.

The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti features 10,752 CUDA cores, 78 RT-TFLOPs, 40 Shader-TFLOPs, and 320 Tensor-TFLOPs of power. It also packs 24GB of GDDR6X memory running at 21GB/s.

With a base clock of 1.67GHz and a boost clock of 1.86GHz, the card is reportedly 60% faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 55% faster than the TITAN RTX, and 9% faster than the RTX 3090.

NVIDIA says the RTX 3090 Ti was made for creators, data scientists, and other professionals working with massive amounts of data: developers or CG animators working with detailed models, super high resolution textures, and massive sets. It will also suit "extreme gamers", providing 4K, ray-traced gameplay, and 8K NVIDIA DLSS-accelerated gaming.

The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti starts at $1,999 and needs a minimum of 850W from the system as the card itself requires 450W.
