Boutique games industry conference Reboot Develop Blue is returning home, to the luxurious summer resort in Dubrovnik after 3 years of covid infused challenges. The event will be held from the 29th of September to the 1st of October.
The conference will be on-site this year, from the 29th of September till the 1st of October, in Dubrovnik, Croatia. For three days the conference will host sessions and panels covering trending game development and games industry topics, and a top-notch speaker line-up. The participants will have a chance to check out the upcoming indie games and enjoy networking opportunities.
In its 7th edition, the conference will feature over 100 speakers. Among some of the announced speakers, you'll hear from Patrice Désilets, President and Creative Director at Panache Digital Games, Fawzi Mesmar, VP Editorial at Ubisoft, Brendan Greene, CEO at PLAYERUNKNOWN Productions, Adam Boyes, Co-Founder of Iron Galaxy Studios, and Hendrik Lesser, CEO at remote control productions GmbH. Reboot Develop Blue 2022 during all three days of the conference will have a dedicated open space in the business-to-business expo area with meeting rooms for developers, service and tools providers, investors, and publishers.
The conference will also have an Indie Expo Area powered by Devolver Digital. The space is set for presentations of indie games and studios, with an opportunity for participants to talk to the developers, view demos, and test the games. Every studio that has at least 2 members of its team registered for the Reboot Develop Blue 2022 conference can apply for free for one of the indie presentation tables on the conference floor. The event team has also organized a big annual Reboot Develop Blue 2022 Indie Award competition. Nominees and winners will be chosen in 5 various categories:
- Game of the year
- Outstanding gameplay
- Visual excellence
- Best audio
- Special selection
