Camouflaj is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Animator capable of delivering AAA-quality animation and effectively guiding others to do the same. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Maya, contribute a high level of creativity and complex problem solving, have a team-oriented/collaborative approach to development, and motivation to create Metacritic 90+ VR titles.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the Animation Director, design, and production to lead cinematic sequences from scene assembly to final animation in a timely fashion
- Provide animation feedback on cinematics balancing schedule, design, and animation needs
- Partner with cross disciplines to identify and review cinematics assets
- Help guide workflow and best practices for cinematics
- Help problem-solve and apply creative solutions to unblock animators
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the team
Minimum Qualifications:
- Shipped 2+ AAA titles
- 6+ years of game animation experience at a game development studio
- Knowledge of motion capture in MotionBuilder and Maya
- Proven organizational skills
- Experienced learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment
- Experience communicating and working in a distributed game development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with VR
- Experience with Unity
- Experience with realistic facial / FACS
- Experience with gameplay animation
