UI/UX Designer - Beat Games

Beat Games is an award-winning VR game studio based in Prague, Czech Republic. Our flagship title Beat Saber has sold over 4 million copies to date, defining interactive music across all genres and collaborating with some of the world's biggest artists such as Billie Eilish, Queen and Lady GaGa (to name a few).

We have big plans for our future and to help achieve that, we are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our studio to help take Beat Saber to the next level.

This is a key role in building the future of VR games and entertainment with the Beat Games team. We are a growing team of leaders in the VR industry at the cutting edge of where music and games come together. This role will help deliver new features, services, and improvements to Beat Saber across multiple VR platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Prototype and Design interactive interface concepts & wireframes in Figma / Unity
• Build & maintain high-quality visual assets for in-game use
• Champion player-focused gameplay flows and accessible user experiences
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design - Building features through iteration
• Work with the Creative Director & UI Lead to establish studio UI/UX design methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years working on game-focused projects
• Ability to demonstrate a portfolio of AAA, live ops, or mobile UI/UX Design
• Proficiency in Figma, Unity Game Engine & visual design software (Photoshop / Illustrator)
• A passion for user experience & information hierarchy with the ability to break down complex gameplay features into clear wireframes.
• Capable of self-autonomy in a fast-paced team – Adapting to an iterative design process

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advocate for designing into accessibility and inclusion
• Interest in VR and Rhythm games
• Game Engine implementation / Rapid prototyping experience
