A Closer Look at Fallout 76 Vaults

John Valenti shared some scenes as the game keeps breaking its records.

With the release of the Amazon TV series, Fallout 76's player numbers have seen a boost, first to 39,455 concurrent players and 4 days ago, to 73,368, setting a new record for this part of the franchise. According to the series X/Twitter, over a million people played the game in a single day – an impressive feat for a 6-year-old game, especially one not particularly loved by fans.

To celebrate its newfound popularity, let's take a look at Fallout 76's environments published by Bethesda's Lead Level Artist John Valenti.

Inspired by the show, the creator shared Vaults 76 and 94, which he worked on together with other talented artists. Senior World Artist Jason Muck contributed to Vault 76 by making a great number of props for it.

"My responsibilities during Fallout 76 were to create props, set dress and world build locations. I set-dressed many locations in the base game. I cannot take credit for everything, so many hands touch these games, in each of these shots somebody else was also involved."

You can see the environments, full of small details and lush vegetation, from many angles, all lovingly crafted by Valenti and the team.

"Vault 94 was once home to a utopian community of Dwellers. Armed with nothing but a stockpile of seeds and the Vault Suits on their backs, these pacifistic people were charged with restoring the Earth’s natural abundance in the wake of the Great War. Eventually the G.E.C.K was destroyed causing a nuclear explosion and resulted in mass mutations throughout the region."

Valenti has also worked on Fallout 4 and Starfield. Scenes from there along with other projects can be found on his ArtStation.
