While everyone is excited about the upcoming GTA 6, especially after seeing the trailer, which recently broke the record as the most-watched non-music video within 24 hours, Roger Clark, the actor of Arthur Morgan in Rockstar Games' other successful series, took to Twitter to say that GTA 5 won't be replaced since it's an iconic title, "they'll both be around for us all to enjoy".
Later, in a comment section, a fan asked Clark about the possibility of Red Dead Redemption 3, a game that Rockstar has not announced or confirmed. Clark shared that he is "certain" fans will see Red Dead Redemption 3 at some point, but he doesn't know when.
He also mentioned that the character Arthur Morgan will not be featured in the game if it is released. While this may seem obvious to those who played Red Dead Redemption 2, there is still a possibility that Rockstar may explore another prequel in the future.
"I'm certain we will see RDR3 one day. When that will be – I have absolutely no idea. Don't count on Arthur's involvement either. His story has been told, I feel," he replied.
Even though the Read Dead Redemption franchise is not as popular as the GTA one, it still succeeded in selling over 81 million copies worldwide. Who knows, maybe Rockstar will take the same approach as with GTA 6 and we will see Red Dead Redemption 3 somewhat in 2030.
