GTA V Sold 150 Million Copies

Rockstar Games and their parent company Take-Two Interactive have confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V has now surpassed 150 million units sold in total. It took the game a considerable amount of time to get there, but it finally managed to reach this milestone. 

Mentioned in a new slideshow released by Take-Two, confirmation of this 150 million unit total for Grand Theft Auto V was discovered. To date, the Grand Theft Auto series as a whole is said to have sold over 350 million copies across all platforms and various installments. This means that roughly 42% of the total franchise sales for Grand Theft Auto belong to GTA V alone.
