Miranda: A SteamPunk VR Experience is Coming Up

Join the first-of-its-kind event to enjoy the live motion-capture performance.

LUMA, the premier festival for art, technology, and narrative teamed up with Tri-Cities Opera, Enhance VR, and Opera Omaha and will hold the first-ever online motion-capture performance.

Miranda will take you to a dystopian world in the future where the social classes reached the most possible percentage differences and are confronting each other. In this on-going confrontation, a wealthy woman died under mysterious circumstances. You and other attendees will get a chance to become juries and judge, find out who’s the real killer, and challenge their own role in the new world.

You can join the event by:

  • Watching a Director Cut on YouTube Live
  • Immerse in the event with VR Oculus Rift or HTC Vive Headset.
  • Desktop or Laptop gaming PC

The immersive show will take place on September 24, 25, and 26 at 6:30 PM EST, 7:45 PM EST, 9:00 PM EST.

Kamala Sankaram worked on the music. And Libretto is by Kamala Sankaram and Rob Reese.  Joshua Bernard and Tice Lerner are the executive producers from LUMA, John Rozzoni and Kurt Howard are taking roles of producers from Tri-Cities Opera and Opera Omaha respectively.
