Redfall's Concurrent Player Count on Steam Drops to Under 200

The Game Pass situation also worsened as the game dropped from 3rd to 13th in its second week.

Redfall's player base continues to decline following its challenging launch around two weeks ago. Initially, the game attracted over 6,000 concurrent players on Steam within 24 hours of its May 2 release. However, the number of active players has significantly decreased, currently standing at just under 200.

According to data from the Steam tracking site SteamDB, the number of concurrent players within a 24-hour period has decreased to 351, representing a significant decline of nearly 95%.

The situation on Game Pass doesn't appear to be any more favorable. Although Redfall initially had a promising start on Game Pass, with players opting to give the game a chance, the enthusiasm has waned significantly. The game has dropped from the third position to the 13th position in its second week on Xbox's subscription service.

Apart from experiencing a significant decline in player numbers, Redfall has also garnered the lowest ratings among both Bethesda's and Arkane's game offerings. Additionally, it ranks among the bottom 15 games on Steam in terms of user ratings.

Interestingly, Arkane has chosen to remain silent regarding Redfall's future, even as players continue to depart and negative reviews accumulate. However, it is worth noting that previously, Xbox head Phil Spencer affirmed that Bethesda and Arkane are committed to providing ongoing support for Redfall, despite the initial criticism the game received.
