Sony Might Introduce Its Own Launcher for PC Games

The references were found in the files of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered.

References to the PlayStation PC launcher were found in the files of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, which was released last week. The files contain multiple mentions of “PSNAccountLinked” and “PSNLinkingEntitlements”, verified by VGC.

This follows the news about Sony possibly planning to introduce PlayStation Network integration to its PC games, which might mean it will be possible to cross-buy games on PS5 and PC. Now, Sony offers PC versions of God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, HELLDIVERS, and Predator Hunting Grounds on Steam and Epic Store.

Sony hasn't commented on the latest findings, and it's not clear how the integration is going to work. Maybe we'll be able to buy the upcoming PC versions of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection already from the PSN account.
