This Multiplayer FPS Battle Royale Got A New Gameplay Trailer

Action-packed Green Hawk Platoon, the multiplayer FPS game, has just unveiled a new gameplay trailer:

The new footage provides a hilarious glimpse of players transformed into green plastic soldiers, using anything in the house, from flower pots to wooden toys for cover. Driving mini-tanks and tossing toy bombs at the enemies looks both hilarious and serious. 

Developers of Green Hawk Platoon have tapped into nostalgia by reviving the little green plastic army guys that many played with as children. They wanted to reintroduce these tiny troopers to the gaming world nowadays with a new look and feel. 

The team has made significant efforts to nail the mechanics and maintain the Battle Royale feel. They've enriched the gaming experience by adding tanks, jeeps, helicopters, planes, controllable guns, turrets, parachutes, grappling hooks, and rockets. Moreover, they're developing different weapons and classes for each soldier.

Opting for a Free-To-Play model, Green Hawk Platoon will introduce DLC later on, but rejects the "Pay-To-Win" concept. Any DLC will be purely cosmetic as promised by the developers, with tactical assets built up through in-game money that can't be purchased with real cash.

In our early interviews with the team, the developers shared insights about the tech used in the game and how it had been moved from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5. 

Green Hawk Platoon is still in development and is slated to release later in 2024. It will initially be available on PC and later join the Xbox and PlayStation communities.
