You Play This Hack & Slash Game by Bashing Your Keyboard

Last Standing is a game for my skill level.

I've finally found a game I'm going to be good at. I remember playing Mortal Kombat with my friend on an old PC where she'd use WASD and I would just spam whatever keys were on the right side. To this day, I have no idea how it was supposed to be played, but we had fun, and that was all that mattered.

The talks about precision and cool combos are getting boring, so here is Last Standing – what gaming should look like. You fight waves of enemies pouring from your left and right and the harder you assault the keyboard, the better the result.

"You are the last soldier left on the battlefield. Show your last bit of willpower to the enemy who is coming at you from both sides. The game's most distinctive feature is the keyboard-banging controls, which make the battles all the more thrilling."

Your attack range depends on how many keys you press at the same time, and I predict it will be a great stress relief. The direction of the attack follows the side of the keyboard you use (the 12 keys on the right target your move there, the same with the left dozen.)

You also have an ult to use: when the gauge is full, start swirling your mouse like crazy to wipe out the enemy. I'm sure it's as satisfying as it sounds.

Last Standing is being developed by Nao Games and should be out in November. Wishlist it on Steam and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on InstagramTwitter, and LinkedIn, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
