A New VR Mod for Elden Ring is Coming

Take a look at another VR creation from Luke Ross.

If you've explored every corner of the Elden Ring's world and don't know what else to do, check out this sneak peek of the game's VR mod made by Luke Ross, known for a variety of VR mods for different games, including Red Dead Redemption 2 and Cyberpunk 2077.

The VR version is made mostly for the first-person perspective, although Ross promised to make playing in third-person possible as well.

"Third-person in this game is really far away (about 5 meters on average) and that doesn't work very well in VR," Ross told PC Gamer. "Instead of being in the thick of action, you're kind of like 'Hey, is something going on over there?' Nevertheless, I'm going to leave the original camera as an option for purists. I'll probably also add an intermediate, close-third-person camera. But I think the first-person camera is where it's at."

The modder added that motion sickness while rolling will not be a problem as the camera will follow the head but "stay level and the world will always look stable."

Ross is hoping to release the mod at the end of April, but be warned that it will still be in development at the time, so you should try it out and give him your feedback.
