A Student Ships a 2.0 Version of the Classic Minesweeper Game

Minesweeper Extended comes with the Endless Mode, 3D view, new minefield skins, and more.

Rasmus Göransson, an aspiring Game Developer and Student at Futuregames Stockholm, has just shipped a new title you didn't know you needed. Check out Minesweeper Extended, a Unity-powered strategy game that upgrades the old-school classic Minesweeper by adding new modes, minefield skins, and more.

Inspired by Minesweeper's iconic Windows XP visual style, Minesweeper Extended lets you play both the classic game and some newly introduced modes, such as Hexagonal, which offers an entirely new grid, 3D for an extra dimension, and Endless, catering to dedicated players who want to push their minesweeping skills to the max.

On top of that, the game introduces some fresh minefield skins and several customization options, allowing you to tweak the width and height of the playing field, the number of mines hidden in the cells, and more.
