Assassin's Creed VR will Reportedly Have Characters from Previous Games

The game will be called Assassin's Creed Nexus.

Journalist Tom Henderson's sources claim that the upcoming Assassin's Creed VR game for Oculus Quest 2 will be called Assassin’s Creed Nexus. It will reportedly feature a standard package of any game in the series: stealth, pickpocketing, lock picking, combat, climbing, and the leap of faith.

Moreover, you will see some familiar faces from the previous Assassin's Creed games, including Ezio, Kassandra, Connor, and Haytham.

Henderson says the game has 16 missions and an elaborate stealth system.

"As stealth is one of the more important aspects of an Assassin’s Creed game, teleportation comes with a soundbar that lets you know if you’re alerting nearby enemies. Basically, the further away you teleport towards the enemy, the less sound is made."

User Echiketto, who claims to have played the game, said the combat in the game is timing-based. You can use a sword, a hidden blade, a throwing knife, smoke bombs, and a crossbow.

Assassin's Creed VR was announced in 2020. The game seems to be in development still, although Henderson's sources suggest it will be released this year.
