Braid Maker is a cool new plugin for Maya that lets users hand-draw procedural braids. The tool will give you the ability to control braids using graphs to determine the width, shape, twist and rolls, use and draw custom curves on geometry, and more.
Features:
- Create Braid Procedural setups with graph based controls for braid width, shape, twist, roll etc..
- Create Braids over custom curves, like artistic shaped curves over head scalps.
- Edit all controls realtime ‘on-the-fly’.
- Bake Braid-shapes after edit, to convert them to plain standard polygon & curves based braids.
