Building Towns From Simple Cubes in Blender

This cool Blender setup uses Geometry Nodes.

Chinese Artist and Designer Sen Zh has created a cool Blender setup that allows you to create a small town using simple cubes. The resulting town is capable of having a variety of buildings with various heights and roof types. What's more, the setup can also generate electric poles and connect the houses with electric vires. According to the artist, the generator was made using Geometry Nodes. The setup is work-in-progress and is likely to be further refined and upgraded by the artist.

"For roofs, I used the Extrude Mesh node and the Scale Element node," commented the artist on the roof-creation. "Get face die by some simple vector math. Such as dot production between face normal and a specified vector."
