Eastern Europe-Inspired Racing Game Being Developed by a Team of Two

Drive the streets and highways of post-soviet Eastern Europe in this upcoming game with old-school pixelated graphics.

Have a look at Szrot, a cool upcoming racing game dedicated to the cars and cultures of Eastern Europe, being developed by Kontraktor Entertainment Bureau, an indie game dev team that consists of just two developers – Hjalte Tagmose and Gustaw Mackay.

Set in the gloomy streets and highways of various Eastern Europe countries, the game puts you in the shoes of an aspiring street racer, equipped with a dilapidated Szrot, which, provided you have the right connections and enough cash, can be repaired, customized, and eventually turned into the best racing car the post-soviet world has ever seen. Besides racing, the game also features other tasks for you to do, such as side quests, both legal and shady, given to you by the inhabitants of cities you will visit in the game.

Gameplay Features:

  • Racing
  • Semi-open worlds
  • Destruction
  • Customize your Szrot
  • Help babcia with her groceries
  • Drive home your drunk friend before he pukes
  • Flee from the police
  • Annoy commuters
