You won't recognize it when Quin is done with the game.
If you thought the dystopian world of Fallout lacked zombies, you're not alone. One fan, known as Quin, decided to turn Fallout 4 into Resident Evil 5 by filling it with walking corpses, dogs, and lickers.
Naturally, this tough task required a bajillion mods to change the characters, weapons, enemies, and environments, as spotted by PC Gamer. You can find a full list of what's been added so far in this document.
The modder poured their soul into the project, modifying the slightest details trying to match RE in everything, including audio effects and graphics.
Resident Evil 5 is not the only favorite in Quin's book. On their YouTube channel, you will see Fallout turned into other RE games as well as Doom and The Terminator.
It's a great time to showcase variations of the title as the Fallout TV series has attracted new audiences to the franchise, and I'm sure a lot of them will find the games fascinating. Some might even join the ranks of fans complaining about the show messing with the original events. They will be disappointed with the director not willing to please them, though.
