Impressive Knitted Fabric Made in Blender

The project was rendered on a seven-year-old GTX 970M.

Have a look at this amazing 3D knitted fabric made by Reddit user shlaifu entirely in Blender. According to the creator, the model was made using the software's Curves tool to set up the knitting stitches, which were then converted into a mesh. Additionally, the artist scattered around half a million tiny hairs across the entire model and stretched and distorted noise as Bump Map to give the fabric this realistic yarn-looking surface. The artist also commented that the entire project was rendered on a seven-year-old GTX 970M
