Magical Winter Environment Pack for Unreal Engine

The package contains a collection of assets that will help you create exterior winter environments.

Take a look at this charming winter environment pack for Unreal Engine created by ANGRY MESH. The package contains a collection of assets that will help you create winter environments. According to the author, all assets were created using low polycount and can be used in every stage of a project on both high-end and older PCs.

The package also has background mountain meshes that can help you complement your environment without performance loss. Using the AG Global Settings blueprint, you can modify the global parameters of Wind, Tint Color, SSS, and Top Layer without changing the base material instance. This allows you to have different wind settings and different amounts of snow for each scene.

The pack features:

  • 4 example maps (+1 map with all assets)
  • 4k Textures for Landscape, Trees, Bushes, and Props
  • 10 Foliage Procedural Spawner presets
  • Modular workflow with functions. The material features can be easily added to any master material
  • Switch parameters to disable/enable the material features
  • Wind system with advanced control settings (Direction/Amplitude/Speed/Turbulence/Waves control, and Mesh Flexibility)
  • Global and Local parameters for Top Layer/Tint Color/SSS/Wind
  • Global parameters can be different for each scene
  • Landscape material with displacement support for UE4
  • Landscape helper files for VHM support in UE5
  • Landscape Auto slope material.
  • Top Layer (snow) projected automatically based on the mesh rotation
  • Low polycount for all meshes
  • LODs for all meshes

The set is compatible with Unreal Engine 4.26+ and UE5. Note that it won't work with the Early Access version of the engine.
