Nine Sols, a 2D Platformer With Hollow Knight Vibes, Is Coming This May

Red Candle Games has finally announced the release date of Nine Sols, a hand-drawn 2D platformer inspired by Sekiro, Hollow Knight, and Katana Zero.

The game is set to arrive on May 29, 2024, on PC via Steam. In Nine Sols, players take on the role of a once-legendary warrior named Yi. Based on the plot, the hero awakens in the guise of a human child and goes to the ancient New Kunlun realm to destroy its nine rulers – the Sols.

The developers created Nine Sols in a Taopunk setting, which is a mixture of Taoism and cyberpunk. As a result, the game combines elements of Eastern mythology and science fiction.
