PlayerUnknown's Prologue Tech Demo Revealed

Brendan Greene showed the upcoming project's proof-of-concept demo which shows a 64km² procedurally generated map.

If you are interested in Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene's work, you probably know about his upcoming project Prologue, the first look of which we shared back in September. The PUBG creator aims to make "worlds hundreds of kilometers across with thousands of players interacting, exploring and creating.”

On his Twitter, Greene presented Prologue proof-of-concept tech demo, which generates a 64km² game world, same as a PUBG map. According to the developer, the demo was created at the beginning of last year and gave him "the confidence to think about planet-sized worlds and the possibilities they could afford players."

Announced in 2019, Prologue is presented as an exploration of new technologies and gameplay. The creators' aim with this game is "to give players unique and memorable experiences, each and every time they play" by creating massive procedurally generated maps in an open-world game.
