The Blender Foundation Ships Blender 3.5.1

Focusing on addressing 3.5's issues, the update comes with 50+ bug fixes.

The Blender Foundation has released Blender 3.5.1, a small yet crucial corrective update that acts as an extension to Blender 3.5, a massive release that featured an upgraded hair system and built-in hair assets, support for Vector Displacement Maps, a viewport compositor and a new timing mode for Grease Pencil, improved Pose Library, and more, launched back in late March. Focusing on addressing the issues found in version 3.5, the update comes with 59 bug fixes and improvements to many of the software's tools.

  • Active/default UV map legacy conversion with name conflict
  • Add support for OpenPGL 0.5.0
  • Add-ons: X3D & BVH import error with Python 3.11
  • bpy.types.Text (region_as_string/region_from_string) crash

  • Crash when canceling Sky Resize with mesh symmetry
