Materials Digest: Cartoon Shaders, Concept Art, Organic Surfaces

For this week's digest, we picked a few packs and collections that can help you work on any project you work on or want to begin. Check it out!

We all know that details play a huge role in creating a nice scene of any type - stylized, realistic, or sci-fi. These strokes, tree textures, different colors can create magic! They definitely add the desired atmosphere to the scene and complete the overall look.  

Working on these little details can be quite exhausting and takes a lot of time to get the result you want. We know that some of you enjoy getting deeply in details of the production, so if you would like to find out more about the process, we suggest checking this breakdown of the stylized nature from Dragos Matkovski. Check out this awesome cartoon water shader from Adam Homoki! The shader will help create the desired stylized look of water with reflections and caustics effect. Adam also added a tutorial on how to use the shader.

If you are working on a tropical environment, this material by Kemal Yaralioglu can help you recreate the stylized version of one of the most common trees in tropics - strangler fig. With the material, you can create cool stylized tree trunks with roots that grow on them and give off an interesting pattern.
