Uldis Zarins is now running a Kickstarter campaign that will let him release a book of facial anatomy and he needs your help.
The artist is a classically trained sculptor with over 25 years of experience and a degree in Art (Sculpture) from the Art Academy of Latvia. He is currently teaching anatomy at the Art Academy of Latvia and author of two globally-recognized anatomy books for artists.
If you’re a character designer, you have to know that it is not only important to explain the anatomy but also the relationship between the anatomy and form. There aren’t many books about facial anatomy that explain not only the muscles, but also the form of the face, and the artist wants to help the community. The book will be full of tips for sculptors and 3D modelers.

The book will discuss critical features and other questions to show how different factors affect the form of a person’s head. The anatomy is the key when working on realistic designs and every artist with a desire to work on AAA project should be a master of it, so this book can be of great help.
