Dead Space Remake Has Gone Gold

EA Motive announced that the Dead Space remake has gone gold and is ready for manufacturing and publication in time for its January 27 release.

The upcoming Dead Space remake has gone gold ahead of its January launch which means that the release version of the game is finished and is ready for manufacturing and publication. What it also means is that there probably won't be any delays.

The developer of the game EA Motive announced the news on Twitter. "WE ARE WHOLE AGAIN. The entire Motive team is excited to announce that Dead Space has gone gold! Thanks to all the fans who supported us this far," the team wrote.

The Dead Space remake is set to overhaul the original 2008 survival horror video game. The game will feature new sound effects and will add some interesting mechanics like the A.L.I.V.E. system which influences Isaac's breathing, heart rate, vocal exertion, and dialogue based on the gameplay features.

It will also introduce some minor changes to the game's story including turning Isaac from a silent protagonist to a character that can talk, bringing some moments of the game earlier in the narrative, and changes to the fate of some characters.

Dead Space is scheduled to release on January 27, 2023. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
