Epic Games Will Showcase Unreal Engine 5.2's Features During GDC 2023

The Unreal Engine team announced that it will join this year's Game Developers Conference and shared the event agenda.

Epic Games has announced that its Unreal Engine team will attend this year's Game Developers Conference (GDC), an annual event dedicated to game development and the game industry that will take place from March 20 to March 24, 2023.

During the event, the team plans to showcase the latest features coming to Epic's ecosystem of tools, including Unreal Engine 5, MetaHuman, RealityCapture, and more, share dozens of informative tech talks and sessions, and allow to play the latest Unreal Engine-powered games to those attending GDC 2023 in person.

According to the announcement, the Unreal Engine team's first session will be the State of Unreal keynote, which will take place at Blue Shield of California Theater at YBCA on March 22 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM PDT. During the keynote, the team will share a look at some of the new Unreal Engine-powered projects and offer a deep dive into the latest Epic tech.

The keynote will then be followed by multiple tech talks, sessions, and Learning Theater talks, including those that will showcase Unreal Engine 5.2's new features.
