Halo's Blood Gulch Recreated in UE4

The Quixel announced another great livestream that will break down Jack McKelvie's latest scene in UE4. 

First, watch a 10-minute breakdown above. The artist created the scene in Unreal Engine 4 using a number of assets from the Megascans library. 

"Halo is the game that got me into gaming in the first place, and it was an absolute blessing to be able to work on something so close to my heart," wrote Jack. "Some of my fondest memories in gaming were playing couch coop with my dad, and hosting huge LAN parties that would last all weekend long."

The breakdown video shows how he approached production. Jack noted that it took him a number iterations to get to the final result.
