Incredible, I love this so much. I'm glad someone out there decides to go make older games like this in newer engines. Great work!

Firstly,Amazing work !! But a doubt..for the background thing ..you mentioned of using a mesh with zero edges which helps out in covering up the repetition process..what is it?..any detailed description please.

William Vaughan and pixelfondue have shared a new 50-second guide to using the Curve Particle Generator in MODO.  The tool is a point source that places particles along the length of a curve. It has an input for a source curve to describe the path of the particles. You can draw a curve in a mesh and assign the mesh to the Source Curve property. If you have multiple curves in the source mesh, you can select one using Curve Index. Learn more with a guide below.  

This video is a quick introduction to the Curve Particle Generator in MODO, which creates particles along a curve that can be used to replicate a mesh item.
