The only video game award of last night’s 44th Annie Awards goes to Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The Annie Awards are about honoring animation in film, television and video games.
Naughty Dog had to battle with Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2, Ludia Inc.’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Legends, and CD Projekt Red’s Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine for the grand prize.
Without a doubt Uncharted 4 is the best there is when it comes to animation. An extremely talented animation team, technologies behind the game and the brilliant acting of Nolan North, Emily Rose, Troy Baker and other actors led to the creation of a true masterpiece.
Jeremy Yates, Eric Baldwin, Almudena Soria Character, Paul Davies, and Tom Bland from Naughty Dog were honored for their work on the game.
Uncharted 4‘s game director Neil Druckmann has congratulated his animation team.
