We Will Definitely See S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

CEO of the famous S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series has officially confirmed that the new STALKER 2 game is being developed.

Sergiy Grygorovych – CEO of the famous game series has officially confirmed on Twitter that the new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 game is being developed.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is the game where the action takes place in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, a place isolated right after the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. The Zone is crawling with monsters, mutants, freaks, and stalkers who explore the zone, looking for lost technology, lore, and treasure.

On May 16, 2019, Sergiy Grygorovych made a public announcement about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 for the first time in a long time:

Looks like the gamedev team is serious about releasing the game in 2021 as it was stated earlier on the official website.

There’s nothing said about the gameplay yet but we definitely know that the team refused their own graphic engine X-ray in favor of Unreal Engine 4 and decided to shoot movements with real actors and motion capture technology.

Let’s remember what the legendary S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series looks like:

This is all we have on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 so far. But let’s hope that the developers are not going to keep the players waiting and will share some hot news about the highly anticipated shooter in the nearest future.
