A Look at Upcoming Atmospheric Retro FPS

Fans of low-poly horrors with old-school graphics should check out Shraud, an upcoming retro shooter by Rekkimaru, a former 3D Realms developer.

The game reminds me of a curious mix of Bloodborne and Nightmare Creatures, but you might have your own ideas drawn from the aesthetics. 

Based on the images and glimpses of gameplay the artist has shared on X/Twitter, it will be a monster hunter FPS offering a variety of creatures and weapons to kill them with.

The project is in early development still as Rekkimaru is trying to find more time to work on it after being laid off from 3D Realms in what I assume was part of Embracer's restructuring process. The company has recently announced the end of the program, so we should see fewer job cuts, at least from there.
