Detailed Hellboy Sculpt Made With Maya, ZBrush & Substance 3D Painter

Lukas Kutschera presented a 3D sculpt of Hellboy and made a tutorial on how it was created.

Lukas Kutschera, a renowned Digital Sculptor known for turning real-life people and movie monsters into realistic 3D models, has unveiled one more outstanding recreation. This time, the artist presented a lifelike sculpt of Mike Mignola's Hellboy, complete with his iconic leather jacket, the Right Hand of Doom, and an oversized revolver. According to the author, the sculpt was made using Maya, ZBrush, XGen, Marvelous Designer, and Substance 3D Painter.

What's more, Lukas also released a 23-hour-long tutorial on how this character was made, providing a look at the workflows behind the project, sharing some useful sculpting techniques, and commenting on the most important parts of the working process.
