Emre Karabacak shared a free 16-minute-long guide to creating a diamond pattern. You will follow simple steps to build and present a nice-looking pattern on a cylinder.
Basically, there are three majors steps here. First, you create a high poly tileable diamond pattern. Then you place it on a cylinder and finish with baking normal map in Marmoset Toolbag 3.
