Sergey Galyonkin left Wargaming

SteamSpy founder is joining Epic Games this Monday!

Sergey Galyonkin (SteamSpy) has left Wargaming to become a part of Epic Games family. Sergey will be overseeing the publishing Eastern Europe. He confirmed this in his Twitter.

This is great news for Epic and for all developers, who are using UE4 in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Belorussia and other countries in the region. Sergey is great with analytics, he understands Steam and the way this platform works. He’s eagerly sharing his thoughts about sales, marketing and production of games in his blog. Plus he worked in a couple of publishing companies, so he really knows his stuff.

But the best thing is that he really digs good games! You can trust me, cause back in the day he was actually my editor-in-chief in a Ukrainian magazine Gameplay. Fancy that.

You can read more of Sergey’s insights here (in Russian) and here (in glorious English). Congrats to Epic Games on a great hire.
