This 19th-Century-Inspired Environment Proves That UE5's Abilities Aren't Limited to Realistic Scenes

This stunning digital environment was brought to life by Bikki Rajbhar.

Bikki Rajbhar, an experienced Game Artist specializing in digital environments and props, has recently presented a marvelous 3D scene that invites the viewer to step inside a 19th-century painting. Check out Broken Colors, a digital environment with a breathtaking stylized appearance that proves that Unreal Engine 5 abilities aren't limited to photorealism.

As noted by the author, the project was inspired by the works of Ferdinand Knab, a 19th-century German painter, particularly his 1888 masterpiece, Monk in a Cloister Backyard. Besides the aforementioned UE5, Bikki utilized a combination of custom assets made with ZBrush and Substance 3D Designer, as well as store-bought assets, to bring this scene to life.
