Tutorial: Creating Realistic Shoes in ZBrush & Substance 3D Painter

Here's a great tutorial on creating realistic 3D models of footwear.

CEO and Art Director at 3D art studio Pompidou Marianna Yakimova has released a new tutorial on how to create a realistic 3D model of footwear for brands. The main purpose of the tutorial is to show how to create a model based on photo references without using 3D scans. In this video, the author demonstrates an in-depth pipeline of making a high-quality 3D model of a shoe from scratch to final professional-looking render. You will also be introduced to basic workflow with such programs as 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and V-Ray.

And the best thing is, this enormous 2-hours long tutorial is, according to the author, just a compact version of the full process. There is also a full, more in-depth version that contains 32 HD videos with the duration of each video being 8-30 min. You can check out the full version here.
