Check Out This Detailed Portrait of Daryl From The Walking Dead

The artist utilized Maya, ZBrush, Mari, and Substance 3D Painter to set up the model.

Take a look at this highly detailed portrait of Daryl Dixon, everyone's favorite crossbow-wielding redneck from The Walking Dead series, portrayed by Norman Reedus in AMC's adaptation of the comic book, created by Character Artist Emre "Emreka" Kaymak.

Conceived as a personal project to translate Reedus' likeness into the digital realm, the portrait was initiated all the way back in 2020 and revisited and finalized by the creator four years later. According to Emreka, a combination of Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, Mari, Marvelous Designer, and TexturingXYZ's materials was used to bring the character to life.
