Thanks a lot ! Did you give some masterclass of something ?

How is the Clovers sit on top between tiles? for mine, blend modes doesnt seem to be working... they follow the height of the tiles which results in extreme distortion of clovers following the height changes of tiles

Destroy Stuff in UE4 with Houdini
21 January, 2016

Last year, we’ve reported about a new Houdini Plugin for Unreal Engine 4, which lets you use some of the software’s peculiar features to enrich your games. However we’ve actually missed one very interesting tutorial back than. It’s author Steven Burrichter shows how you can create amazing destruction in Unreal Engine 4, using Houdini.

The tutorial is bit very long (about 30 minutes) and it requires some basic knowledge of UE4 & Houdini, but it’s reasonably easy to understand.

Going step-by-step on taking a pre-made model, fracturing/simulating/baking out the results, and viewing them in Unreal Engine 4. The zip file can be obtained here:

Magnus Larssonac actully used this solution in a couple of his scenes and it works great with no hiccups. FPS stays just as steady as usual. Check it out.
