Tutorial: Illustrating an Appealing Cyberpunk Scene

Tek Tan recently posted a great 3-part tutorial showing the whole process of creating an appealing cyberpunk scene from scratch with  Photoshop, ZBrush, Maya, KeyShot.

The whole tutorial is made up of several parts:

  • Chapter 1 – Tek Tan takes us through the workflow and process for modeling a cyberpunk character in 3D, using ZBrush and Maya.

  • Chapter 2 – Tek Tan produces the remaining assets for his cyberpunk scene to put them together into the final illustration.

  • Chapter 3 – In the final part, Tek Tan composes the scene using his 3D assets in Zbrush and Maya painting them over with various types of lights and shadows in Photoshop and then uses KeyShot for the rendering.
