Hi Lincoln, Thanks for this. I found it incredibly informative. Could I ask you a question about your wind + plant movement? Is there any way to stop it looking like the plants are rooted in moving water. I find it horribly distracting and pulls me out of my suspension of disbelief. Cheers, Tudor

Lovely work ! You mentioned "When lighting the scene, I used Light Functions to create the illusion of light passing through clouds, thus lighting the environment unevenly" do you think you could show what is the setup to get such a precise result ?(meaning highlight the area you want?)

Image you open the door and go back to your childhood – all the beloved books, old furniture and one more thing – favorite 16-bit Sega with your very first games. This beautiful scene by Liam Tart won’t bring back the early years, but it can most definitely give you a quality moment of misty nostalgic remembrance. It’s all about nostalgia.

Fun little project done over the course of a couple of weeks. I was watching Stranger Things which got me in a nostalgic mood, and wanted to do a sort of homage to my own love of games as a kid.

The scene was created in Unreal Engine 4 with the help of tools like Substance Designer3ds Max, Photoshop and Marmoset Toolbag
